"Mr. Jones strikes up a conversation with this black-haired flamenco dancer" In the words of Adam Duritz "We all want something beautiful". In these cold winter months Flamenco will spice it up and bring something beautiful. Bostonist recommends taking in a bite at your favorite Spanish joint and heading on over to the Majestic at Emerson and catch the Flamenco Festival this weekend. Flamenco dancing has passion and fire and we’re pretty sure there will be some interesting scenes of people falling in the sloppy sidewalks at they try and mimic the dancers as they exit the theatre. Tickets are a little bit more money than Bostonist has to spend this weekend, so maybe we’ll be satisfied with a bowl of homemade paella and a trip to the Images of Flamenco: Photos by Zarmik Moqtaderi at the Boston Public Library at Copley. Flamenco isn’t huge in Boston but you can catch it around the city, check out this for the latest flamenco buzz.
