Patriots linebacker Tedy Bruschi was released from Mass General Hospital yesterday afternoon after what doctors have diagnosed as mild stroke. He was admitted on Wednesday after complaining of headaches, blurred vision, as well as being numb on one side of his body; tests were able to show that he suffered a mild form of a stroke. While the people of Boston are happy to see him healthy enough to walk out of the hospital on his own, they also are concerned whether they will see Bruschi at Gillette Stadium next season. Doctors have said that young stroke victims can go on and have very healthy lives, but as to whether or not that includes playing football is unknown as of now. Patriots' spokesperson, Stacey James, announced, "Tedy is in good condition and, as always, his spirits are high. He is walking and talking normally and stressed that he would like to thank everyone for keeping him and his family in their thoughts and prayers." Bruschi has to undergo more tests to find out the exact cause of the stroke, which will play a role in deciding whether he would be to suit-up with the Pats anytime soon.
