As former Vermont Governor Howard Dean said “Not only are we going to New Hampshire, we're going to South Carolina and Oklahoma and Arizona and North Dakota and New Mexico, and we're going to California and Texas and New York…Yearrrah.” Words that marked the primary cycle of the 2004 election ring true for Governor Mitt Romney.
He traveled to South Carolina yesterday to deliver a speech to over 300 republican audience members. The political process that is the election for President of the United States starts early and keeps on chugging until the November election date. By the time we hit November last year Bostonist was sure that the election had been going on for two years or more. The election usually starts in three states for a candidate: Iowa, New Hampshire, or the first-in-the-south South Carolina. All three states hold primaries or caucuses earlier than any other states. Speaking in any of these states can be somewhat conspicuous if a politician is trying to keep a possible bit under wraps. Romney can’t really keep it under wraps any more. His speech in South Carolina, coupled with the reports over the last few weeks that he has been raising an obscene amount of money, makes Bostonist believe that he’s in it for the Whitehouse. The Governor’s Mansion stands in his way. In case he forgot: Mitt, you’ve got a re-election in 2006. Where his opponent isn’t know for the 2008 Presidential bid it’s looking like domain challenged State Attorney General Tom Reiley will be challenging Romney for the Governor’s office. Romney will have a tough time balancing the generally liberal leaning Massachusetts electorate with that of the conservative base of the nationwide republicans he hopes to motivate for the 2008 primaries.

throw the bum out!
i will bet 5 dollars that the soldiers in back of him give exactly two shits about what he is saying.
that picture is one of the funniest I've seen in a long time, why is one window black and one white and shinny? what is that on top of the military vehicle? only smoke half a bowl before you study this pic or you'll be making the neighbors think something is wrong
I like the pic too...given to us by the wonderful state website.
Two shits? you think they give that many?
