Winter Break Ends for the Little Ones

Bostonist has been dodging the youngsters all week. It's that time again- Winter Break. The city has been buzzing with activities for the kids, and we're sure that last night's snow equals a day of hard core sledding for the local school children. The week ends on a high note for many with the arrival of the Boston Children's Expo at the Bayside Expo Center. This year's special guests include Bob & Larry from Veggie Tales, SpongeBob SquarePants, Pikachu, and the old standby Ronald McDonald. They'll also have boatloads of inflatables, NASCAR driving, and candy.

Bostonist was considering helping out at the Big Sister Association of Greater Boston after we read a Boston Globe article about their huge lack of volunteers. This would definitely be on our list of thing to do.
