More Weather Woes

In case you live under a rock or in some basement apartment with no cable or Internet or windows, Bostonist thought it would let you know that the weather is going to just plain suck this afternoon. This morning it was a balmy 40 degrees, letting Bostonist leave its scarf and mittens at home. Yet, when 5 p.m. rolls around and all of Boston is commuting home, you best be wearing your winter gear. These afternoon showers are expecting to turn into wet snow by then; expect 1-3" here in the city with temps plummeting to the low 30s tonight. And if that's not good enough, how about some wind at 50-60 m.p.h. along with 4-7" of more snow tonight? Want more? Good. We're getting more snow on Friday and Saturday this weekend. Oh joy. But just remember, the First Day of Spring is only 12 days away.
