Pub Crawl The Burren: St Patricks Day preview

Burrenxmas.jpg The Burren in Davis Square opened back in 1996, making it an infant of a pub when compared to the likes of the 123 year-old Doyle's, but it still feels like the old country. The Burren serves up tradition Irish music seven nights a week, but tomorrow they'll be playing all day long. Here's the schedule:

Front Room:
Noon- Tommy McCarthy, Louise Costello, Martin Langer
5 pm- Ted Davis, Tina Lech, Partick Murray
9 pm- Johnny O'Leary, Triona Tammanagi, Shannon Aaron

Back Room:
3 pm: Wild Cats of Kilkenny
6 pm: The Gathering (Direct from Ireland)

The bartender couldn't say if they'd have green beer, but we counted at least 13 kinds of whiskey, including Power's. They also have a nice lunch and dinner menu, with Shepherd's Pie and Bangers & Mash to keep you warm and soak up the booze.
