Awake, and Find Your Alarm Clock

clocky.jpgThose genius engineers over at MIT have developed a gizmo that forces you to find it after the first tapping of the snooze button. The alarm clock, with its cutesy handle Clocky, has wheels and plush carpet padding. When you hit the snooze button Clocky travels, it wheels itself to a new location where you’ll have to find it rather than just extending your arm once again to hit that magic button. Bostonist thinks this might help us get to work on time. We don’t want our roommates to get one for fear that their 5:30 am wake time will be the bane of our existence as their Clocky wheels itself into our room and starts screeching for all to wake up. It’s AC powered so perhaps the tether will restrain overall distance traveled. Gauri Nanda, the designer of the device, describes her inspiration as kitten bites in the morning. At least that explains the fuzzy exterior. We’re with gizmodo and think that an 85 lb pit bull mix that really needs a walk is probably a better motivation than kittens. But now that Bostonist is up, is there anyway you folks at MIT can help us find a shirt that is clean and unwrinkled that we can wear out of the house?
