What a Funny Week or A Regular Laugh Riot

tbarry_big.jpgBostonist got word from our friends at Gothamist that Todd Barry would be in town this week. Jimmy Tingle’s Off Broadway up in Somerville will host the New York native comic Friday at 7:30 p.m. We have it on good authority from both Gothamist and DCist that Mr. Barry will figuratively split our sides on Friday. He’s a veteran of Letterman, Conan (a re-run aired last night), and a number of appearances on Comedy Central—from Dr. Katz, Chappell’s Show, and even his own 1/2 hour special.

To get us through the rest of the week (like, over the hump) in anticipation of Todd Barry we may have to check out the Insomniac, Mr. Dave Attell. Dave sent Bostonist a message letting us know that this would be straight stand-up and that the Comedy Central folks would not be following Dave around the Hub filming another episode. With a home game at Fenway we were really hoping that there might be some footage of the inebriation around Yawkey Way. Dave Attell dispenses comedy at Avalon's Ballroom Wednesday at 8 p.m.

Bostonist doesn’t expect to see much hair on either comedian, should we draw conclusions?
