For the Birds, Upcoming Events and Diamond

A couple weeks ago Bostonist added a new feature to the site. We gave our readers a list of upcoming.org’s listings for the Boston and Cambridge area. We decided not to include Somerville and Watertown as the listings were, well, shall we say, not to hearty. We’ve been watching the content of the little include and notice today that the first of June marks a very special engagement. Apparently in Somerville’s Union Square Krasik will be feeding the pigeons at the benches. Bostonist likes upcoming because anyone can add events. If feeding pigeons isn’t your thing perhaps you would like to bring me flowers? Oh, you don’t bring me flowers. Neil Diamond tickets went on sale yesterday and reports to Bosonist inform us that the sales have been swift, they even added a show. If you can’t afford the $85 bucks (plus fees, of course) you can enter The Bostonist Neil Diamond Contest. We will be giving away three pairs of tickets to the August 15th show.
