Let’s be Frank

The pictures of Bush and Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Abdullah holding hands last week gave us a chuckle. This week Wonkette points out the pictures of our own congressman Barney Frank playing what looks like grab ass with a young buck. The Washington Blade, the DC area’s weekly gay community news source, had self-described "spies" at the Philadelphia Equality Forum scoping out good gossip. As far as Bostonist can tell the best tidbit that came out of the conference was Barney Frank’s apparent grabbing of Mike Evan’s posterior as he escorted him into the VIP area. Rep. Frank seems to always be making the news; usually it is for his opinions and leadership on liberal causes, not for his sexual orientation. In our state where same-sex marriage is legal seeing men with men or women with women is blasé. The Blade really caught us off guard; we know Barney Frank is gay, but we haven’t seen folks giggle and point for some time. Bostonist just wants to know where all the pictures are of Mitt goosing Kerry Healey? Maybe you just have to be more careful if you're going to run for President.
