Free Doughnuts! Best Day Ever! Austinist deserves a thousand thanks for telling us about Doughnut Day at Krispy Kreme. We're sure the Prudential shop has a line all the way to library, but we're still going down there for a free caramel kreme crunch.
Bostonist hopes other local eateries will join Krispy Kreme and Ben & Jerry's and give away their sugar-packed fatty goodness at least once a year. We just wish they'd wait until after bathing suit season.
EDIT: Bostonist reader says the Pru isn't participating! Bostonist called up the Medford store and the lady "thinks" they're doing it.
