<p>Ever gone past the Charles and wish you were on one of the boats making their way down the river? We'll let you try a couple of practice session on the ONLY TWO authentic dragonboats practicing on the Charles from April thru September for free!

The Dragon Boat Club of Boston, founded in 2001 and Boston's oldest incorporated competitive racing team, practices 3 times a week (Tue & Thur 6pm, Sun 10am) at the docks next to the Hatch Shell on the Charles River Esplanade. We race in Boston, Montreal, Lowell, Pawtucket, Hartford, and San Francisco and are winners of the Hong Kong Cup Grand Prize and 1st Place Winner of the 2006 Boston Dragon Boat Festival.

We always welcome new paddlers - ability to swim not required (we provide lifejackets). We're a bunch of folks in our 20's and 30's who are dedicated to promoting and expanding the sport of dragonboating in the New England area.
