Weather forecasts indicate that the beautiful weather we’ve had for the last two days is about to get a little soggy. High humidity will thicken the air today and might be cause for severe thunderstorms in the afternoon. Bostonist is sure to be watching the hazecam to check out how visibly hazy, hot, and humid it is outside as we sit in the comfort of an air conditioned office. This afternoon, besides the thunderstorms, Bostonist plans to check out the Turbo Ice ski jumping on City Hall Plaza, although truth be told, it’s not Dunkin’ Donuts' All Star Aerial Ski Team and music that has grabbed our attention. The "Ice Lounge" might be just what we need (Bosonist hopes it resembles an igloo) to go with the free Turbo Ice drinks they’ll be giving out. Turbo Ice isn't actually the ice in your ice coffee but the a creamy drink to help you stop slacking. But beware: Frozen promotions have met with limited success this summer, just look at the Snapple-sicle that melted all over New York’s Union Square.
