Speaking of Anniversary Parties, Icarus in the South End is celebrating its 27th Anniversary this month. In honor of that, they are offering a fixed three course dinner for prix fixe of 27 dollars. Bostonist loves a bargain and $27 ain't cheap but it is an absolutely fabulous steal, most of thier entrees are regularly 30+ dollars. This deal ends with July, but there is still time to run over to 3 Appleton St. and take advantage of this deal, if you can get a seat.

If Icurus' cuisine isn't to your tastes, then maybe head over to the Publick House on August 12th for their $60 summer BBQ. Those sixty dollars go a long way since the deal includes an all you can eat buffet and five different beers provided by Hyland Brewing Company in Sturbridge, MA. Make sure to book your place in advance though, because this event has a habit of selling out. Bostonist also reccomends a designated driver, after five beers the drive back from Sturbridge is mightly long.
