Ticket Giveaway: Grizzly Man

250x250_gm.jpg.jpeAt first thought it doesn't sound like such a bad idea to spend a dozen (or so) summers in Alaska. Cooler temps, longer daylight hours, mukluks (by the way - Mukluks are SO in for the fall; Uggz are SO out!), whale blubber ... could it possibly get any better? Maybe it can if stalking grizzly bears is your cup of tea. If you're just warming up to the idea and need to think about it a little more, maybe seeing Grizzly Man" will help you out. Or, if you're just looking to see a movie about bear-obsessed Tim Treadwell scoping out the Grizzly world then here's your chance to check it all out ahead of the general public. Grizzly Man, the latest from Werner Herzog, is about grizzly bear activist Timothy Treadwell, a man who lived and filmed, for 13 summers, immersed in the grizzly habitat.

Bostonist wants to take you out to the movies. We're giving out pre-release passes (two people per pass) to see Grizzly Man next Monday, August 8th, at 7:00pm. Entrants will be selected at random through our Grizzly Man contest page. We ask that you please be considerate of your fellow readers and only enter if you really are able to attend the screening. We've got quite a few but can't take everyone. Winners will be notified before Monday with more information on the screening.

This contest has been closed. We hope the winners enjoy the show
