The news story says they're investigating to determine the motive. My guess is that somebody was just trying to break this guy's . . . oh man, it's just too awful a pun to make.

Best of all, the police corporal quoted in the story is named H.D. Wood IV. Is it juvenile of me to think that, in light of the subject matter, that names is kinda funny?
