2005 MITX Awards

MITX.jpgThe Massachusetts Innovation & Technology Exchange's 10th annual competition is coming and it is exciting! Just look at that orange X, nothing says excitement better then that! With all of this excitement you might forget that you don't even know what the MITX Awards are. In fact the MITX Awards are a competition for online initiatives undertaken in the last year by or on behalf of New England.

Through a long process over the last month (That we have decided to ignore) we have finally made it to the Finalists. These web sites are the best of the best and represent interesting categories like Consumer Goods and Government/Utilities! Though categories like Games and Free Stuff is lacking there is still some very innovative stuff to see.

Who will win? To find out buy a ticket for only $150 a seat (I hope they serve dinner) or Stay tuned as Bostonist analyzes the entries and picks our own winners. MITX will announce the true winners to the rest of us on November 3rd . Let Bostonist know which is your favorite and which should be mocked!

    Not a surprise to see so many projects by The Barbarian Group (they are awesome) though I am a little surprised to see so many by Hunt + Gather. Who knew?
