If you are a huge podcast fan then Accident Hash should be on your radar. If for some reason you've missed this gem of a show then fear no more. Not only has Bostonist felt the need to feature this show, but the equally popular site (is it possible to be more popular then Bostonist?) Podcast Alley is also featuring Accident Hash on their front page. C.C. Chapman has been bringing us this podcast for almost a year now and it easily counts as Boston's best claim to podcast fame.
Accident Hash is a music podcast that plays tons of podsafe music. Most of the featured bands are unsigned and don't have large record companies who play 'Who wants to go to jail?' with podcasters who play their music. Signed or unsigned, the music that C.C. Chapman picks is some of the best alternative, indie, and acoustic rock on the internet. It satisfies a fairly wide range of tastes and even if you don't absolutely love every song, it will be hard to deny that they are not at least enjoyable.

Accident Hash is wonderfully produced and planned out, and C.C. Chapman has a great speaking voice. Chapman also strikes that perfect middle ground of not too much talk but just enough to be interesting and unique. Occasionally promos for other podcasts are played during the show. These promos don't feel like paid advertising and it's good that Accident Hash is helping to promote other podcasters, but at the same time they break up the show and end up becoming annoying. In the end, this is the best podcast currently in Boston and sets a very high bar for every one else.
