Pinehills Homes is offering a very unique and luxurious event this weekend on Saturday from 5-9p.m. Join some of Boston's best chefs like Michael Schlow of Radius, Barbara Lynch of Number 9 Park, Marc Orfaly, and pastry chef Joanne Chang, for a hybrid charity/sales dinner in down in Plymouth. You will eat some of the best food money can buy, while dining in a Pinehill million dollar home; you of course can take a tour as well as custom design your own Pinehill mansion. The cost is a measly $125 dollars to attend, however all the proceeds go to Children's Hospital. Personally, Bostonist thinks they should name a wing after you if you end up buying one of these opulent homes.
Meanwhile if you aren't up for a lavish weekend south of Boston , head north to Nashoba Valley Winery. They are hosting an Oktoberfest on Sunday, 12-5p.m. (rain or shine), which will feature authentic german bands, wine tours, wine tastings, and a chance to pick-your-own-apples. The best part is Sunday is supposed to be the first sign of sun in what feels like two months, so why not do some apple picking while drinking one of Nashoba's various home-brewed beers? Sun, beer, and apple-picking sounds like a little slice of heaven with the month we've been having.
