Bostonist: Boston's huge area of influence

I am a New Yorker but I once made the mistake of living in Boston for 2 years. I did not meet one person who wasn't jealous that I had lived in NY, and when I decided to move back there, jealous that I would be living there again. There's no mysterious force field around NY, if you want to live there so bad, up and move there... Most Bostonians couldn't hack it though.

this just further proves that Bostonians have an inferiority complex when it comes to New York City. I haven't met one without it.
