I'm a Chicago native doing the whole school thing here in Boston. Know of any good bars to watch the Sox sweep their way to victory with my fellow Chicago brethren?
Ordinarily, Bostonist would be disinclined to spend time answering the inquiries of out-of-towners who root for teams that bested the Red Sox in the playoffs. But dammit, we like Ozzie Guillen so much that we can't say no, and we have lived in enough cities that we know how lonely it can be to watch your team from behind enemy lines or, worse, among people who have already turned their attention to other sports. Unfortunately, we must confess that this particular question has us stumped. We have asked our cousins at Chicagoist, a Chicagoan friend who went to school here but now lives there, and just about everyone else we can think of, and no one knows the answer. Apparently, the person who sent us the question is not the first to contend with this matter, judging by some postings we found on craigslist. We even contacted one of the people who posted seeking fellow White Sox fans, and he informed us that he had received only one response, and the person didn't follow up. Local Astros fans have banded together to find space to watch their team, so White Sox fans who like to gloat (and possibly fight) can go there, but we can find no corresponding camraderie among our city's Chicagoan exiles (except for a certain 5'9", 19-year-old White Sox-rooting woman in town who is seeking the company of a like-minded man).
Dear readers, won't you help this poor White Sox fan out? Post comments here if you know where he can go to be among his people, and do it quickly - the Series may not last much longer.

Boston Beer Works has the game on! At least they did when I was there. I am cheering for the Astro's still for two reasons 1) I don't want to hear about the Sox being world series champs...and its not us 2) I hate Carl Everett. That is all.
I love the White Sox! Go Chicago! Anyone who wants can come watch it at my house!
Kimmy... Can I come over?
Yeah, thanks for the effort anyway. I think we're (we being me and one other fan) going to start at the Beer Works and then move over to the Cask n' Flagon if the Works isn't going b-a-n-a-n-a-s. Fellow displaced Chicagoans, feel free to join us.
Beer Works was empty and they wouldn't even turn the damn sound on. Cask n' Flagon was much better. Only a few other fans there, but at least there was somebody. We're all going nuts right now. Two curses broken on two Sox in two years. Hot damn.
For future baseball seasons, Charley's on Newbury (at Gloucester) has an incredible downstairs bar.
Charles Sarkis (Back Bay Rest. Group) has a rule that the flagship restaurant show sports downstairs if they're broadcast. Sound is always on, too.
During baseball season, Red Sox have priority; during the overlap months, baseball will get a few screens, and share with basketball/football/hockey.
Three large HDTV's, three regular and a mini TV in the corner bay.
It's a very grown-up bar too, very laid-back atmosphere, different from a "sports bar." Jeans and a sweater are okay, but it's not a Daisy B's or Pour House by any means.
Lot's of local restaurant industry people drown there at the end of their shifts, a few regulars, and businesspeople sent over by the nearby hotels.
Check it out next year (they even show spring training games if you ask).
