If Steve Garfield is not making money off vloging he really should be since you need to go through the site with a fine tooth comb to find a day he did not put out a short video. Where does he find the time to do it all? It's even day time during the videos and last time Bostonist checked it was depressingly dark after work.
While content volume is a good way to keep people coming back the really interesting part is the different kinds of content he puts out. One day he is highlighting other vlogs as well as video from around the internet and the next he has a piece on Eyes Wide Open, the antiwar event that was in Copley Square. Other mini shows include The Carol and Steve Show where they travel around Boston as well as other places and occasionally reporting for rocketboom, a widely popular IPTV show.
Steve Garfield is a little goofy (lovably goofy) at times but it's hard to ask for much else from the kind of technology geek who would go through the long process that vloging takes. Even with all the work it takes he maintains a high level of editing, sound, and picture quality. Though with so much content it is hard to keep every episode as engaging as the last. Overall a must see for any true vlog connoisseur.
