Bostonist is a big supporter of user-created content. Every week we review local webcasts brought you you by Boston citizens, not only to entertain you but to highlight what normal people can do with a microphone or a camcorder. While we do want to empower our readers, we are also looking for new content to review and if we don't trick someone into starting a new podcast we're simply going to run out of shows to review.
Luckily we are not the only people looking for others to take the plunge into internet stardom. Ravi Jain and Steve Garfield are going to be offering a video blog class at the Cambridge Community Television center in two parts. The first class is on November 30th and the second December 7th from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. The $45 charge is a bit steep and they don't say what the fee is for, but this is what Bostonist gets for saying Steve should get paid.
Once you have started your award-winning videocast, your job is to email Bostonist and beg us to review your show. We expect to be backlogged with years of videocasts to reviews within days of the video cast seminar.
