About a month back, Bostonist got all caught up in the $25 fare offered by Jet Blue to get you from Boston to New York City. We even called the contest, shunned the Fung Wah, and gave the advantage to the plane. This widely successful move by the discount carrier has actually made competing shuttles drop their prices a bit too. But we’re done with New York: There are just far too many people in the city during the holiday season. So we’re packing our bags and going to the nation’s capital, Washington, DC. JetBlue is tempting us again, this time with a Logan-to-Dulles run for just $25. Discounts, unfortunately, won’t get us down to DC to witness the Whitehouse Christmas separation of church and state first hand - the cheap fares are valid in January and February. Regular fares are priced from $55 to $140 each way (and won’t require advanced purchase). Since their takeover of the old Delta terminal at Logan, JetBlue has been adding routes right and left. It may be Mitt's dream come true, only $25 to D.C. but it's doubtful that he'll be able to make residence there for such a tiny sum.
