A Small Price to Pay for Holiday Tradition

Although (this) Bostonist is not a fan of the Holiday time productions of "The Nutcracker" or "A Christmas Carol", even we can admit that there is a certain something about them which signals the beginning of all things wintry.

You can currently purchase tickets for Boston Ballet's production of "The Nutcracker" for $18.50 through ArtsBoston (part of which goes towards the restoration fund for the Opera House). Keep in mind that these for the "cheap seats" (which would still bring about the magical quality of the experience in our opinion); however, if you can afford it you can also purchase tickets through Ticketmaster and the Boston Ballet Ticket office for better locations. (Keep in mind that the best seats for ballet are not closest to the stage but centered and halfway back - any closer and you risk the chance of having a blocked view of the performer's feet).

For more information check the Boston Ballet website.

You can call the Boston Ballet Box Office at (617) 695-6955, Mon-Fri 9am-4pm
