The first thing Bostonist thought yesterday when we awoke to the sight of snow - it's time to put on the snow tires on our rear wheel vehicle. Ugh.
If Sunday's snow wasn't enough for you, don't worry the greater Boston area is in for another round of snow tomorrow. WHDH TV Boston reports that beginning tonight a winter storm warning is in effect for the Cape, Islands & parts of SE Mass. The National Weather Service is calling for three to six inches of snow by tomorrow evening in the Boston area.
Bostonist is always skeptical of such predictions, we just remember a time two years ago (yes, we hold grudges) when the Weather Channel predicted snowfall of about two inches, 12 hours later our car was plowed in in Cambridge and we were sleeping on a friend's futon. Ha!
In any event, get ready because winter has finally arrived. The good people over at FEMA have our backs though, check out their winter weather preparedness tips.
