One of the many things we have in abundance here in the Commonwealth, in addition to snow, liberals, and Venezuelan oil, is lawyers. In fact, we have more lawyers per capita than any other state. That means there's probably at least one lawyer on your holiday gift list this year. Ordinarily, the best present you can give to your favorite litigator is a set of facts giving rise to a multi-million-dollar class action lawsuit that benefits lawyers exclusively. Unfortunately for you, dear reader, some guy in California already has that covered, so you'll have to do something else. Luckily, there is a business right here in the Boston area making great stocking-stuffers for members of the bar: Tortfeasor.com makes cool t-shirts for lawyers. The brainchild of Andrew Sinclair (full disclosure: he is a friend of Bostonist's from law school), who lives in Cambridge, tortfeasor.com offers only a few t-shirt designs, but damn! they really are cool. The competetive justice logo, featuring a silhouette of Justice holding her scales done in the style of the NBA and MLB logos, is stylish and understated. "Attorneys Represent" is punny and awesome. As a lawyer and frequent wearer of t-shirts, Bostonist strongly recommends these products, especially if you are buying them for us (size XL, please).
