Bostonist has heard some bad podcasts. We've been confused, annoyed and have even fallen asleep. Never have we felt such exhaustion and physical discomfort as when listening to Phedippidations. Only this time it's a good discomfort. Phedippidations are "rambling diatribes composed during distance long runs" and Bostonist considers it a feat for anyone to both run and speak at the same time.
Phedippidations can be a bit awkward to listen to with the panting, traffic, and Steve's pounding feet. But even through all of those obstacles there is a lot of quality content to be heard during these thirty to forty minutes shows. Steve mostly sticks to what he knows while he out and covers topics like avoiding cars and dogs as well as the best ways to carb up.
Steve greatly encourage you to take his podcast out on your own run. Listening to some one run can be awkward but Bostonist think that if we took it running we would be encouraged to try and keep up with Steve's pace. Running is always better when you have company. Even if you don't have the breath control to run and talk at the same time you don't need to do anything other then listen.

Week Around the Ists, November 1–7

Phedippidations is wonderful. I think you have to be a runner (or an aspiring runner) to appreciate it. The flapping of the feet is part of the fun. You should give Steve a "5" for production quality.
