As far as using headphones on the T goes, either you'd have to buy expensive noise cancelling headphones (yah, right) or crank it up over the UNBELIEVABLY LOUD T noise. If you take the T, you go deaf either way.

ooops. thanks! for noting my careless typo (NOT a subconscious slip -- i LOVE Pete and the Who). Oh, and any true music lover -- goth or whatever -- who can't appreciate the Who's proto punk and amazing output should, uh, have their hearing checked.

Pete is partially death? are you hoping for his early demise or something? the who are one of my favorite bands in the whole world. don't tell my 'goth' friends that though. it would break their black, oozing hearts.
