Jon, great post, and I really like logo. I should follow up with an update on this, I contacted MIT's PR department, who were rather dismissive and did not seem to understand the consequences for the college's reputation. I also contacted the MIT media lab's PR department. Who were a little more polite, but directed me to Cameron, who did not respond to my emails.

Funny though it is, the badge should really say, "Where are the data, Cameron?" (You think it's fun being a grammar nerd? It's a curse, I tell you. A curse.)
