Home Grown Local Show, Exploited.

curtainsociety_360.jpgAfter justified criticism that Bostonist hasn’t been paying enough attention to local bands we’re looking fondly at the Exploit Boston concert tonight. It’s the first event they’ve been sole sponsor and it’s brimming full of local act goodness. There’ll be time enough to get surly playing your favorite State of the Union drinking game and still make it to the headliner. Only problem with that plan is you’ll miss out on the free drinks. Yep, free drinks. Exploit Boston has arranged for the first 20 people through the doors before 8:30 to get a free wet for their whistle. Get there early so you can see Uncle Shaker, from Somerville, followed by The Curtain Society from Worcester. And stay for the Tom Thumb & The Latter Day Saints (of our very own Boston and nearby Providence). Doors to the Paradise Lounge open tonight at 8 p.m., tickets are $7. Hop on over to the Exploit Boston to check out some sample tracks on Exploit Boston Radio.
