Must see: installations@EMF in Central Square

Bostonist is a BIG fan of installation/public artwork (to be fairly general) - we LOVED Aaron Noble's site-specific mural at the Davis Museum @ Wellesley College, we LOVE Julian Opie's pieces on Northern Avenue Bridge, and we are eagerly anticipating the newest installation going up at EMF of former Cantebridgian Tighe Clark.

For those of you unfamiliar with EMF - it is in fact an electrical supply company, still owned by the same family that started it all, located in Central Square. Judd - third generation - "began to produce art shows in the Brookline Street side at the EMF Warehouse" (according to their website). The installations@EMF sound incredible - and Bostonist can't wait to make the venture out this weekend to see the new installation infuse Cambridge with art.

If artist Tighe Clark's website gives any indication of what to expect (although on the website he indicates to expect something different - so we shall see) - regardless we have a feeling we are going to love it though and It is the season for love after all...

For more information and directions to the space check out the installations@EMF website and to read up more on the artist Tighe Clark check out his website here.
