Media Frenzy at Hasty Pudding
Bostonist had the opportunity to watch the start of the Hasty Pudding parade this afternoon in Harvard Square. At first it was a delightfully civilized affair, sporting all the basics of a good parade - unicycles, sousaphones, Harvard boys in drag, and of course cows and llamas.
The chaos started when Halle Berry's motorcade showed up - preceded by a massive truck full of photographers and cameramen. (And followed semi-patheically by a car carrying "Miss Massachusetts", whom everyone seemed to be ignoring.) Bostonist was, sadly, relegated to standing in a snowbank, but caught the action nonetheless. In our humble opinion, the Hasty Pudding boys stole the show, with a close second going to the free coffee caramel tapioca pudding they were handing out.
