Brokeback, Brokeback, and More Brokeback

Bostonist is not going to "live blog" the Academy Awards like some of our counterparts. They may sit down to lunch everyday next to movie stars and other pop culture icons that roam their streets. We've got Danny Aiello in the North End filming his next movie, Ben Affleck every now and again back here in the Hub (visiting his Mom is what we've been told-he secretly keeps a pad in southie too) and a handful of Val Kilmer sightings on the Green Line.

We are sitting down to watch the Oscars tonight so we thought we should give a shout out to Matt Damon some boys at Emerson - Patrick De Nicola and Jonathan Ade - for their Back to the Future tribute/parody Brokeback to the Future. The Boston Globe absoutely loves it, and Bostonist can't help ourselves but have a special place in our hearts for anything at all Back to the Future.
