Where is Springfield?

We’ve got no business showing you this video. It is certainly not Boston-related, but we really got a kick out of it and thought it worth sharing. It may not be as contagious as Lazy Sunday (or Brokeback Sunday?), or the latest Portman rap (at least she went to school here). What we have here is simply a British, live-action version of the Simpsons intro. We’re going to justify giving this a spot on Bostonist with a shout out to the western half of the Commonwealth (Yo Springfield!). We also hope that it serves to raise awareness of the rumblings up north at New England’s own Vermont Yankee nuke-plant, whose plans to crank up the power have been put on hold for the time being.
