St. Patty's Day Hangover Cure #1: Keep Drinking through Saturday Night

Since limited edition t-shirts are "so hot right now", Bostonist can think of nothing better to take our minds off that post-St. Patty's Day hangover than checking out the Legends of Style: ICONS event at the BCA this Saturday, March 18 from 8 pm - 1 am.

"ICONS will showcase artwork from more than 30 artists and designers from across the country. This time around, Future Classic [the event's host,] decided to add a twist to the LOS format. As Andy Warhol made famous with his Marilyn Monroe, Mickey Mouse and Campbell Soup Can, each artist will present an original piece of an icon, image, or iconoclast." A theme, plus our curiosity to see if anyone chooses a local "icon", and (hopefully) refreshments from sponsors Stella Artois, Becks, and Bass, is enough to prompt us into buying our $15 ticket in advance ($20 at the door.)

Even better, the t-shirts exhibition features designs from contemporary brands like Artful Dodger, Staple Design, Mishka, Rebel 8, Upper Playground, Scifen, Exact Science, Johnny Cupcakes, Militree, UniversalMind, Better Chemistry, and Hollywood Starlet. Buffmonster and Project SF, and all of the art is for sale.

Maybe we can get a unique 100% pre-shrunk little cotton number to wear to the pub next St. Patty's Day...so at least we're lookin' good when we get into a bar fight with this toothless wonder.
