Bostonist Anniversary: We're Having a Party!

bosonist_logo_birthday_big.jpg
Boston seems to have all eyes focused on this weekend. Being Evacuation Day and St. Patrick’s day, along with a rare Friday when Catholics are allowed to mangez du boeuf the parties should be grand. However, Bostonist has our eyes set on the future instead. Saturday, March 25 to be exact. We’re holding a party at The Kinsale, co-sponsored by our friends at Like Life Boston.

We’ve been blogging here in our tiny corner of the internets for just over a year and we’ve finally put together a party - and it won't be the standard happy hour. We want you to come. There will be a couple of live local acts we've nailed down, we’re still working on the DJ details to keep things hopping until the end of the night. When you wake up from your green beer hangover sometime mid-week next week make sure that you've already put this on your calendar.

Come out and party with us starting at 8 pm until we all stumble home (or grab a cab) when the bar closes for the night. To show our appreciation for your readership and a sign that blogs aren’t just for the ‘net but can also get people together we’re hoping that you’ll introduce yourself…and let us buy you a beer (or two). There’s a VIP Guest List(sign up here) we’ve set up along with our more official announcement. Even if you’re not on the list, the event is free and we hope that you will help us celebrate our first year running and come out to have a good time on with us.
