Murph to Boston: Happy St. Patrick's Day

It’s St. Patty’s day today. The kind of day in Boston you don’t walk into a bar and call “Hey, Murph” across the bar without a quarter of the crowded place looking over and saying “Yeah?” Seems as though everyone has an Irish, or partly Irish, friend who goes by ‘Murph’ (Surprisingly Bostonist actually had a PE teacher who insisted upon ‘Mr. Murphy’). So on a day where you’re wearing your green, kissing the Irish, and enjoying a pint we thought it fitting to bring you this short gem of a video. Pure and simple, it expresses the sentiments of many who will celebrate evacuation day today. The description on the YouTube page: “Mayor Murphnino of Boston representing his strong emotion for getting wasted.”
