One of the questions posed to Bostonist at the party on Saturday night was “how come you guys don’t have gossip on the site.” Our response was rather simple, we don’t have gossip on the site because we focus on Boston. While the occasional Val Kilmer sighting on the Green Line or a Ben Affleck/Matt Damon encounter on Newbury St. might have us dropping an email to a friend, it isn't something we feel is worthy of a post. We justify our lack of gossip coverage when we check out the Globe’s names section and find a spread of images featuring the likes of random state senators and Fidelity executives. Of course if you’ve got some hot celebrity gossip we urge you to let us know about it, we’re all ears.
In the interest of serving our readers we thought it appropriate to bring you a Boston-style celebrity sighting. You have to watch the video closely, and really only the last few seconds. Bostonist agrees with the cameraman – that is Steven Tyler outside the Ritz Carlton Boston Common.

When I was walking down Newbury Street a few months ago I heard what sounded like a familiar voice. I turned around and it was Steven Tyler and a young woman by his side walking towards me. By the time I decided that yeah, I should be a dork and take a photo of him with my camera phone, he had just walked by but I took the photo anyway. LOL
Here's the results. I guess you'll just have to take my word it's him. ;)

Although I was the one to spot Val Kilmer on the Green Line one random Tuesday night, my latest "celebrity" sighting was by accident. Last weekend: Chelsea Clinton shopping for jewelry right next to me at Mint Julep in Harvard Square... and I had no idea until she left the store and someone told me it was her. Damn it.
luogo interessante, soddisfare interessante, buon!
