Today the headlines talk about scratch tickets and fights at home plate. Bostonist isn’t having any of it. We love the Red Sox, we love Fenway, and we’ll never forget the night we never thought we’d see. On a fall evening in 2004 the Red Sox did something they hadn’t done in 86 years, brought the World Championship trophy home to Boston. With opening day just around the corner we’re going to watch this video, forget about the 2005 season, and know that we can take the World Series again this fall.
