Marathon and Daffodils - Swan Boats Make it Spring

Saturday was a beautiful day. We haven’t forgotten it. The sun was shining, temperatures were warm, the Sox were playing at Fenway, and cantaloupes were out at Haymarket. Flowering trees, crocus, and daffodils are good indications springtime is upon us, so is the Boston Marathon and the launching of the Swan Boats in the Public Garden. As is customary, Saturday morning Menino, wife, and grandkids took the first ride in the boats for the year. The start of spring also marks the beginning of tourist season in New England. Today’s video shows both swan boats and a tourist perspective.
