Gnarly Dude. Great Scott Preview

We feel bad about bringing a flash animation set to music to you for the video today. So we’re going to share with you one of the best performances we’ve seen in a while: Gnarls Barkley on Top of the Pops. Fully YouTubable with fair sound quality – but don’t crank it up, it’ll get a little shady. We’ve been watching this video (mostly for the even more stunning live version of the song) by the Cee-Lo/DJ Dangermouse team for the last week or so. Can’t get enough? Check out their performance at Coachella, where they performed in Wizard of Oz attire. Still not enough? Make plans to visit the Windy City and our friends at Chicagoist for Lollapalooza in August where Gnarls Barkley will perform.

They’re launching big folks, headed for “best of” lists in December and January. In the UK first and then over here in the US of A. May 9th, we’ve been told, will be the new music Tuesday when you can get your paws on the mouse’s new disc “St. Elsewhere.” Itching for a little preview action? Tired of MySpace? The party starts at 10 pm and runs until 2 am – and no one will tell us when they’ll be popping in the Gnarls release. Bastards!
