All Time High – The Ruff Cut

Trolling around looking for wonderful tidbits of life in the Hub have yet to bring us into Roxbury. Today's video, the self proclaimed "Ruff Cut" of the song All Time High, brings us there – with a glimpse of life and a song. Unfortunately, the sound quality that comes off a YouTube video leaves much to be desired. So, Bostonist can't claim that this song is new ring-tone worthy, but hey, it's still the rough cut.

We focus on today's video more for the intro clip of the 'hood than for the music. The clip starts in a car, riding with, presumably, the same guys who are in the video later on. The trip takes a turn past a drive-by shooting site, then through Dudley Square at night. We try to stay aware of the digital divide, therefore assume that there are a good number of folks who log on to this site who have never seen Dudley at night (it's really not that bad). We also are taking this opportunity to showcase internet savvy use by a group of folks who we truly don't see much of on these video sharing sites.
