Missing in Somerville: Jane Park

Jane_Park_poster.jpgJane Park has been missing for two weeks. A 2004 Wellesley College graduate and now resident of Somerville was last seen on May 5, 2006. Dan Cotter, the public information officer for the Somerville PD, told the Somerville Journal that detectives on the case have ruled out foul play. The Somerville police are now actively searching for the missing 23 year-old woman. Park's mother, Grace, and sister, Melissa, have flown in from Maryland and North Carolina, respectively, to help search for Jane. The search effort is just now hitting media outlets. Christine Y. Teng, Jane's roommate, told the Harvard Crimson that postering efforts around Harvard Square (where Park was last seen) had gone well. Bostonist doesn't usually do this kind of thing, but we're in it to help too. If you have any information on the whereabouts of Jane Park please get in touch with the Somerville Police Department's Detective Michael Kiely at 617-625-1600 ext. 7332. Poster with additional information is available here – or click the picture on this post.

Please help Jane's family and friends to find her. We love her and miss her and are praying for her. Note: Jane's hair is currently shorter than in the photo. Besides the Somerville Journal article, there is a story today in the Harvard Crimson: http://www.thecrimson.com/article.aspx?ref=513541

Just a clarification, Christing Teng was not Jane's roomate. She had spoken to Jane's roomate after Jane disappeared, but she didn't personally know Jane.
