Bostonist Does Some Spring Cleaning

bostonist_new_look.jpgCan you handle this? Can you handle this? We're pulling out the mop-n-glow, a dust rag, and the vacuum for a little spring cleaning – hoping to get all bootylicious for the summer months. You may notice that things are looking a little different around here. They haven't really changed. We've just tidied up a bit. We dropped a new color scheme on the site, ditching the grayish color we had employed for the last year and a half for something, well, a little more lively. We've also moved the search function up to the top of the left column. But we're most excited about the more interactive functions we've added. You'll notice that recent comments are now displayed on the left column – we're working on the comment spam issue so ignore offers for Viagra or from Nigerian businessmen looking to give you millions if they do crop up there. Recently In, the Archives, and RSS subscription options all follow on the left column. The last feature appears as a part of every post. There's a little [+] symbol you'll see after the by line on each article. Mouse-over it and it'll reveal an option to add to del.icio.us, yahoo, and digg as well as an option to search technorati for related items. We hope you enjoy the little tweaks.
