America’s #1 Arts Festival East of the Rockies Introduces 90 New Exhibitors Memorial Day Weekend! Taking place at the Three County Fairgrounds, on Route 9 and I-91 in Northampton (yes, that's still part of Massachusetts - just west of 128, the Paradise City Arts Festival will run on Saturday, 10am-6pm, Sunday, 10am-6pm, and Monday, 10am-5pm. Admission prices for adults is $12, seniors for $8, students for $5, children under 12 are free, or you can get a weekend pass for $15. Bostonist can attest, it is a great way to spend your time this memorial day weekend.

In addition to the 275 juried artists from 30 states exhibiting an awesome display of original works, live jazz, gourmet foods prepared from some of Northampton's finest chefs, an outdoor sculpture garden, a silent auction to benefit WGBY Public Television, and more. Not to mention the Town of Northampton itself. There was at least one good reason NoHo was named the Best Small Arts Town in America by travel writer John Villani, author of "The 100 Best Small Art Towns in America."

With gas prices a little high it might seem like an expensive exercise going out to the "mid-west" of Massachusetts, it really need not be. The food is affordable at around 5 dollars a dish. The live music is free, and though some of the art is extraordinarily expensive, there is much available that is affordable. Bostonist has, in the past, purchased beautifully hand crafted metal sculptures fashioned as a key hook, and a coat rack. Both were about 25 dollars, and both used a feline motif. And both continually encourage people to ask, "I love it. Where did you get that?"
