Sixty Bucks for a Sing-along

Pearl Jam was in town for the last few days playing a pair of shows at the TD Banknorth Garden. We were totally into them back in, oh, say 1995. But then the whole Ticketmaster lawsuit happened and we started to really dislike the convenience we were being charged on top of the already steep ticket prices. Well that, and they released No Code and Yield. Our interest waned. But we still can sing-along to Jeremy, Even Flow, Daughter, and Better Man among about a dozen or so others. But we don’t pay $60 dollars or more to do it. Today we'll take a quick look – 45 seconds or so – into the Garden at the Pear Jam show. While the clip is of Better Man you'll only hear Eddie Vedder for about five seconds – the rest is all crowd.

More videos from this week's shows are starting to pop up on YouTube - where you can also watch the Jeremy video. Admittedly there are some better clips of the show. A couple different angles. Perhaps you were there. How was it? If anyone is looking for a pair of Pearl Jam embroidered wristbands circa '92 just let us know. We just might be able to hook you up.

This article is lame, calling a whole concert a waste based on one song? umkay... I hope this isn't a real journalism website.

Great shows. The sing along stuff can be good but it gets tiresome quickly. The shows were great but I would have preferred to here more songs from the recent albums. The 3 shows from the tweeter center last tour were the greatest Pearl Jam shows I've ever been too but these to shows were great too. Sure EV can be annoying but the music is still great.

Openers My Morning Jacket were spectacular. Their spacey southern rock with tons of reverb seems like it was designed to be played in an arena.

Pearl Jam has yet to fail me!

Went to both shows, and they were awesome, especially last night.

Yield and No Code are incredible albums, and last night they played Smile for the first time in years and Leash for the first time in over a decade.

As a die-hard fan, and someone whose been to over 35 shows, last night was the best ever. Wednesday was equally tremendous.

Sing-along wise, Eddie's gotten a little better at actually singing the songs that he wrote. But, even for a baleen whale lunged individual like Vedder, its tough being louder than 18,000 people.

5 incredible musicians, a can't miss if you're a rock and roll fan.
