Anne of Mash-Up Gables

Another rainy day. Ugh. Sometimes the rain really needs to be met with nothing better than a little bit of silliness. The new mash-up video trend that's rolling around the Internets can often be quite amusing. But, to be honest, the Brokeback trailer parodies have seen their day and might not be cool to blog about anymore. Today's video isn't really Boston related other than the fact that the music it's set to is Boston's More than a Feeling. The band came out of Boston, but the visual subject, Anne of Green Gables, was set in Prince Edward Island. The rock video remake will make you cherish the bosom friendship of Anne Shirley, the kindness and love of Matthew and Marilla, and fall in love with that crush of crushes, Gilbert Blythe, once again.
