The Red Sox continue to steal our hearts and build our confidence. Last night's 12 inning win over the Phillies rounded out a sweep of the series and extended the winning streak to nine. Tonight the Olde Towne Team faces the Mets for more inter-league play. In the overall standings the Sox go into the competition one game back from the Mets – who follow only the Tigers and the White Sox in the overall standings. They're looking for the tenth win in a row tonight when they play the Mets (Pedro takes the mound tomorrow). Today's video is a slideshow of the 2006 Red Sox. The team is also looking back as they look forward today. The 20th anniversary of the 1986 American League Championship season is being celebrated with a reunion of players from the '86 team. Of course the fate of the Sox in the '86 World Series is well known. As they take on the Mets in the three game series they'll try not to have any repeats - Buckner certainly won't be playing in tonight's game. 20 years of baseball later seems like a while for professional players, but Rocket Roger is still pitching. Take a look at the slideshow and try to find who might be among those the Sox will be bringing back to Fenway in 20 years.
