Tim McIntire, That Guy Who Played the...

Because you're the only one in the office today and you've got the music cranked up as it flows from your computer – but you just want a little bit something different. Because last comic standing isn't going to be on tomorrow night (NBC shows the Macy's fireworks from NYC) and you're itching for some comedy. Because you can't stand the fact the Eugene Mirman calls New York home and not Cambridge. Because you're still pissed that they cancelled Home Movies (and Brendan Small doesn't live in Cambridge with Mirman anymore). Because you love Tim McIntire and need a half hour of his humor to make it until you duck out of the office at 4:25 when no one will notice – especially now that Tim called a hiatus for the month of July. Today's video is a mini-documentary filmed circa 2000 and it contains a half hour of performances most of which were filmed at the Comedy Studio in Harvard Square. Lots of comedians make cameos – and a couple of Brookline comedy class participants show off their "final projects."

You know, even with all Brendan's self-deprication, I loved Home Movies and dammit, I always will. Home Movies is dead! Long live Home Movies!
